We strive to deliver your Petals & Poison treasures with the utmost care and transparency. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how your order is shipped, processed, and protected.

Returns & Refunds

At Petals & Poison, we take great pride in the artistry and care behind each creation, from our handcrafted teas to heirloom jewelry and collectible fashion. To preserve the integrity and freshness of our offerings, please review our return policies below before placing an order.

Return rules summary

  • Approved Returns accepted with 5-10 day return window
  • Customer provides return shipping
  • 15% restocking fee

Domestic Shipping (U.S. Orders): Excludes ALL Fashion Items.

  • Complimentary Shipping on all U.S. orders over $300

  • Orders are typically shipped within 1–3 business days, though may take up to 7-10 business days during high-volume periods or sales.


Ready-to-Ship Items

All non-preorder items are generally processed within 1–3 business days.
Please allow up to 7-10 business days during peak sale seasons.

Shipped via DHL Express, though USPS or UPS may be used depending on your location or item availability.


Fashion Items

All Fashion has a permanent $35 shipping fee. We do not offer free shipping for these items. These items are shipping directly from our warehouse in Jiangyin, China.

Pre-Order Policy

Pre-order listings will always include an estimated ship date. By purchasing a pre-order item, you are agreeing to a flexible timeline. Your item may ship sooner or later than estimated.

If you purchase pre-order and ready-to-ship items together, your order will ship once the pre-order item is ready. To receive your in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.

All pre-order sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for pre-orders.


International Shipping

We ship globally via DHL Express. Depending on product location, USPS or UPS may also be used. Typical transit times are:

  • Europe: 1–2 business days via DHL Express

  • Asia: 3–4 business days via DHL Express

  • Standard USPS/UPS International: 7–10 business days


Import Duties, Taxes & Fees

All international shipments may incur local customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees—collectively referred to as Import Fees. These fees are determined by your country and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

  • We do not lower declared values or mark packages as gifts to bypass customs.

  • If you refuse an international shipment, you will be held responsible for:

    • Original purchase cost

    • Shipping charges

    • Import Fees

    • Return costs (if applicable)

Petals & Poison is not liable for any delays or denied entries due to customs. We kindly advise reviewing your local import policies before purchasing.


Lost or Stolen Packages

Once shipped, Petals & Poison is not responsible for lost or stolen parcels.
If your package is missing, please contact inquiries@petalsandpoison.com immediately.
Be sure to retain any packaging or tracking information for reference.


Order Cancellation Policy

All orders begin processing immediately upon placement. For this reason, cancellations can only be honored as store credit, and only if the item has not shipped.

Please note:

  • We do not offer refunds for delayed pre-orders

  • If the item has already shipped, we cannot cancel the order

To request a cancellation, email us at inquiries@petalsandpoison.com as soon as possible.


Tracking Your Order

You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your item ships.
Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking details to update.


Final Notes for International Clients

  • You are responsible for ensuring your shipping address is accurate and complete.

  • We cannot guarantee delivery dates due to customs delays or unforeseen shipping issues.

  • Orders returned due to unpaid duties or incorrect addresses will not be eligible for refunds.

  • I ordered the incorrect item — can I return or exchange it?

    Yes. We accept returns and exchanges for items ordered in error.
    Please note that all approved returns and exchanges include a 15% restocking fee to cover inspection, cleaning, and re-packaging of each small-batch piece.

    • U.S. (Domestic) Customers: A prepaid return label will be provided.

    • International Customers: All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. This includes sending the item back to us and paying for the shipment of the exchanged item.
