At Petals & Poison, we take great pride in the artistry and care behind each creation, from our handcrafted teas to heirloom jewelry and collectible fashion. To preserve the integrity and freshness of our offerings, please review our return policies below before placing an order.

Food & Beverage Products
Due to health and safety standards, all tea, cocoa, and edible items are final sale. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for food products.
We kindly ask that you review all product descriptions and ingredients before purchasing. Refunds to the original form of payment are not available for food or beverage items.
Non-Food Items (Jewelry, Accessories, Homeware, Perfume)
All non-food items are considered final sale, with no refunds or returns. In rare cases of manufacturer defect, an exchange or store credit may be issued at our discretion.
All perfume purchases are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered. For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to restock or resell fragrance products. This policy is strictly upheld to maintain the integrity and quality of our collection.
Since 2014, our return rate has remained at 1.9%, and we remain committed to ensuring you’re pleased with your purchase. If you have questions prior to ordering, please email us, we’re happy to help.
Approved Returns
If a return is approved under special circumstances:

You will receive non-expiring store credit, minus shipping and return label fees.

Credit is valid for use on any future online purchase.

Credit cannot be redeemed at Burnt Umber Café.

Please note: colors may vary slightly due to device screen settings. We do our best to photograph products accurately, but variations in display may affect appearance.
Responsibility in Shipping
Petals & Poison is not liable for loss, delays, or damages that occur once your parcel has left our facility.
For damaged items, email us at inquiries@petalsandpoison.com within 5 days of receipt with clear photos and packaging.
Fashion Return Policy
We may accept returns or exchanges on eligible fashion pieces under the following conditions:

Item must not be marked Final Sale.

Request must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Returns must be shipped within 7 days of approval.

Exchanges are limited to one per item.

After an exchange, if still unsatisfied, you may request store credit.
Please note:

Refunds to original payment methods are not available.

Return shipping costs will be deducted from your credit.

A 15% restocking fee applies to all returned fashion items.
- Most Fashion items are made to order, so please ensure your size is correct before purchasing.
Eligibility Requirements

Items must be unworn, with tags and hygiene seals intact.

Items used for events, photography, or social media features are not eligible.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these standards. If a return is denied, you may be invoiced for shipping or dry cleaning fees.

Return Instructions
Domestic Returns

Email inquiries@petalsandpoison.com to begin the return process.

Carefully pack your item. Do not place labels directly on branded product packaging.

Once received, your return will be processed within 5–10 business days and store credit issued.
International Returns

Contact us via email to request a return. You must obtain your own trackable shipping label.

Include your order number and full name inside the parcel.

Credit will be issued 5–10 business days after the item arrives at our facility.

I ordered the incorrect item — can I return or exchange it?
Yes. We accept returns and exchanges for items ordered in error.
Please note that all approved returns and exchanges include a 15% restocking fee to cover inspection, cleaning, and re-packaging of each small-batch piece.-
U.S. (Domestic) Customers: A prepaid return label will be provided.

International Customers: All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. This includes sending the item back to us and paying for the shipment of the exchanged item.

Exchanges
To exchange an item, return it first for store credit, then place a new order using your credit balance.
Holiday Return Window
Orders placed between November 24 – December 31 qualify for an extended 30-day return window (excludes Final Sale items).
Other Policies
Price Adjustments
Prices are final at the time of purchase. We cannot apply discount codes or adjust prices retroactively.
Order Cancellations
Due to immediate processing, orders cannot be canceled after checkout. We may be able to issue store credit if the order has not yet shipped.
International Exchanges
To exchange an item, return it first for store credit, then place a new order using your credit balance. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. This includes sending the item back to us and paying for the shipment of the exchanged item.
